 The Heart of Mary Cluster is currently seeking a Coordinator of Youth Ministry.  The Coordinator of Youth Ministry is responsible for the faith formation program for grades 6-12, including confirmation prep, for the three parishes which make up the Heart of Mary Cluster.  Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  overseeing catechetical instruction for youth in grades 6-12; implementing and overseeing sacramental preparation for confirmation; coordinating/providing community building and spiritual opportunities for teens; and providing support and supervision of site supervisors, catechists and volunteers.    Consideration will be given to both full-time and part-time (30 hour/week) applicants for this 11-month position.   This is an hourly position that requires working evenings and weekends. 

Qualifications:   Candidate must be a confirmed, practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church, possess strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate ability to work collaboratively, be proficient with technology and social media, and have excellent communication skills.

 Education/Experience:  A degree in theology/religious education or related educational field or possession of a certificate in pastoral or youth ministry would be preferable.  Consideration will also be given to experience working with Catholic youth in a formation setting.
